[edit] Final round frame by frame
This part is a bit confusing. Surely we don't need to include the same information twice. I prefer the way the BBC do it here, with the breaks in brackets after each frame (8-104 (63) 64-55 (55 Wattana) 81-48, etc.). Could we alter this template so we only need to enter the information once? Flowerparty☀ 01:51, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
- It can happily be altered. I did the two boxes to try and make discerning the scores a bit easier - as the bbc way turns into a jumble of numbers - with this scripting you can look in both boxes and those in bold are the scores racked by each respective player. This way also discourages copy/paste "data dumps" from the bbc articles - I am not sure if that could be considered a copy vio. SFC9394 20:28, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] High break
Could probably do with another box at the bottom for the highest break of the tournament. Kinitawowi 19:26, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
- It can be added - but I don't know if it needs to be. It might be worth combining it into a stats table with other bits and bobs (longest match, player with most tons). If it is the only stat then things could be worked to slot it in - but if it is the first of many then it might be easier to just create a separate table (the length of the current template being a bit complex and overwhelming already) SFC9394 20:41, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
- Perhaps; I was thinking that given that there's usually prize money on offer for it, it needed a mention somewhere; and bolting it on to this template looked like the best way to do it. Kinitawowi 00:15, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
- If it can be reliably filled for each usage then no problem. On the wikiproject there is a discussion floating about whether to just rename the template to allow for usage across different tournaments, it might be worth dropping this idea in there as well so we can get an idea of what should be included.
