World Pacific Records

World Pacific Records was the world music record label of Pacific Jazz Records which distributed Horizon Records from 1960 till 1963. It was a division of Liberty Records which also handled popular music releases. Its biggest pop hit was "Elusive Butterfly" by Bob Lind.

- Pre-1966: Black and silver label, WORLD PACIFIC at top of label in big letters (HIGH FIDELITY in smaller letters above the label name)
- 1966-1969: Black, dark blue and light blue label. Oval logo on left side; left half of oval is yellow, "WORLD PACIFIC/A PRODUCT OF LIBERTY RECORDS" in right half. Disclaimer at bottom of label shows "A DIVISION OF LIBERTY RECORDS"
- 1970: Black, dark blue and light blue label. Oval label in rectangle on left side; left half of oval is yellow, "WP" in right half, "WORLD PACIFIC" underneath oval. Disclaimer at bottom of label shows "LIBERTY/UA, INC."
