XETV is not owned by Bay City Television, Inc. under Mexican law as is the same law in the United States, foreign nationals are forbidden from owning any media outlets, this includes radio and television stations and newspapers. However foreign nationals can enter into a LMA (Local Market Agreement) with a television or radio station to operate the station but they cannot own it. Misterrick 04:51, 7 November 2005 (UTC)
