Yorkshire Terriers FC is a gay football team based in Yorkshire and also attracting players from the north Midlands and the North East. It welcomes people of all ages and abilities, male and female, including 'gay-friendly' footballers.
The 'Terriers' get together every Sunday for kickabouts in Leeds, except when involved in 11-a-side matches in the GFSN National League or 5-a-side tournaments. They were league champions in 2003/4.
The Yorkshire Terriers hold an annual 5-a-side tournament in March, with teams from throughout the UK taking part. With over 25 teams competing in 2007, this will be the largest gay 5-a-side tournament in the UK.
