Talk:-phyte

My evidence that the rare "carophyte" means "charophyte" is that I couldn't find any Web pages where they meant anything different, and I did find two where they appear to mean the same thing: http://www.botany.ut.ee/~olli/eb/litr.html and http://www.sbs.utexas.edu/gonzalez/pdf/notes/lecture%2010.pdf . Also, the majority of the references I found were from non-native speakers of English. —JerryFriedman 22:27, 9 December 2005 (UTC)
Why is this list incomplete? If it is so why has there been no discussion of cleanup? I would say that there should be a formal effort to get a list as important as this one up and running smoothly. It also looks bad to have all these faulty links. Either we should make more pages or delete some of those links.--Bobpalloona 08:02, 24 July 2006 (UTC)Bobpalloona
- I think the simple answer is that it is this way because it's originator is an eventualist and no-one else has shown enough interest SP-KP 17:43, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
