Khalil al-Hibri

Khalil al-Hibri (1905) was a prominent Lebanese politician and businessman. He served in parliament and as Minister of Public Works on multiple occasions during the presidency of Camille Chamoun. He is best known for agreeing to head a transitional government as Prime Minister during the Lebanese Crisis of 1958. He was followed by Rashid Karami who headed a government of national reconciliation.

He is the brother of Mohamed al-Hibri who was awarded the Bronze Wolf, the only distinction of the World Organization of the Scout Movement, awarded by the World Scout Committee for exceptional services to world Scouting.
