Phil Lagettie is one of Australia's top athletes for riding "Scooters".

After previously being a bmx rider, Phil moved into the direction of "Kick Scooters" a very underground sport at this time. (about late 2003.after continuing at this sport he started to become quite good, and very well known for it! he had been riding for about a year and a half until he met another scooter rider that was well known, Coedie Donovan.Coedie had been riding for about a year longer than Phil.

After the 2 meeting, there riding progressed greatly,knowing there was competition around. After going in a few local comps, they dicided to go for a sponsor at "Manly Blades"[1]. They both acquired this sponsor..and more doors started to open for them, by this time, scooters had started to kick off, all due to Coedie and Phil.

About another 2 years went on, and they both entered several competitions, and obviously placed varying between 1st and 2nd. about Mid 2006, Both Phil and Coedie picked up a Major sponsor "Razor Scooters", this being probably the biggest sponsor for scooters at this time, they had both acquired it.

After several months of planning competitions with Razor, , They decided to included scooters in the 2007 Soul Planet X Games. This was a huge opportunity for the Sport.

as Razor flew out 6 Riders from the states and 2 from Europe, (pretty much the worlds best riders) they were all set to compete in the Planet XGames in St kilda, Melbourne Australia.

The exposure was still amazing though, and was a huge step for the sport.

Razor intends to get both riders out to the USA very shortly to compete and Demo over there.
