In 1999 at the age of 43, Khoo decided to 'hang up his swords' to live a quiet & leisurely life in Cameron Highlands(M'sia) with his wife Judy and their "four-legged son", Bandit, a Yorkshire terrier to this very day. In the seclusion of his mountain sanctuary, he pursue his passion whole-heartedly in writing & speaking extensively on the 'Art of War' on which most of his 26 books on business and management were based. A much sought after speaker and authority on Sun Tzu's military treatise, he still travels once a month for five to ten days to "suntzunize" - a term he coined for sharing the wisdom of Sun Tzu's strategies for success and happiness in his seminars.

In 1997, he was sent for intensive training and thereafter appointed an honorary Assistant Superintendent of Police(ASP) in recognition for his contribution to the police force.

When not travelling in the region to "suntzunize" people. He constantly explored on various subject matter to write & has recently expanded his literary works to novels, two of which had been published to date, 'Taikor' and 'Mamasan'.
