Phantasma

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Phantasma is a Slovakian death metal band founded by Andy and Roland in 1992. Radoslave joined the band soon after. In this line-up, they recorded their first studio demo "Destroyed 'Cause He Believed". After Radoslave left the band to fulfill his military service, the new guitarist Leviathan and bassist Jesus joined the band. A short time after, in 1994, they recorded material for Metal Age Production, Slovakia, called "Welcome to Heaven". It's 1995 and the guys are again to be found in the studio together. After the well received second album, the third one was recorded. This was named "Jazz for Jesus" and was released at their own expense a year later. In 1996 Roland and Leviathan left the band and after a six months' search the new drummer Mr. Ryhak and new guitarist Rudrige and keyboardist Rastislave were found. In March 1998 Phantasma recorded the album "Jahve" for the Slovak label Rock Extremum. This album was released in early 1999. 2001 a new album was recorded and with this they are signed to swedish Downfall records. The "Gospel" was then released in 2002...
