Phil Hubbard

Philip "Phil" Gregory Hubbard (born December 13, 1956 in Canton, Ohio) is a former American professional basketball player for the Detroit Pistons and Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association from 1979 to 1989, and current Assisant Coach of the Washington Wizards.
Hubbard played high school basketball at athletic powerhouse Canton McKinley High School. He also played college basketball at the University of Michigan before being selected by the Pistons with the 15th overall pick in the 1979 NBA Draft.
