I'm not really going to be spending a lot of time on Wikipedia at the moment, due to various idiots ruining the Word Association game. I'm sure the Wikipedia family will survive without me.
I'm originally from the wonderful British Isles, though right now I'm living in Canada with my Canuckified girlfriend. I recently completed two years as an Assistant English Teacher working in Japan on the JET Programme.
I haven't really had a big hand in any articles, except for Tom Petty, which I rewrote pretty extensively a while ago. I like to add things here and there. Being a pedantic bastard I'm always on the lookout for spelling and grammatical errors. My biggest love is music, so the majority of my bigger contributions are in this field, most notably Tom Petty, but also in Super Furry Animals and Kula Shaker. I've also started articles on some of the sadly-no-longer-with-us indie bands of the late 1990s, such as Campag Velocet and Earl Brutus. I did also spend a while fixing the pages relating to the British music charts in the 1990s and 2000s, and I've made it my ambition to get all the number 1 singles of those years with a decent stub and infobox, if not full article. I've started a lot of stubs about British comic characters, and being interested in literature, art, philosophy and psychology means that I've contributed little things to a wide range of articles, from Haruki Murakami to Villanelle. I also love patroling the recent changes page and reverting vandalism; it's very relaxing.
I have been playing the guitar for around nine years and I am currently learning to play the ukulele. I love malt whisky, especially from the Islay region and I'm currently adoring the complete fictions of Jorge Luis Borges.
