The Phoenix Flame are an IBL team slated to begin play in the 2007 season. The team will play home games at the Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum, a venue much larger than most IBL venues. The Flame will be Phoenix's first minor league basketball team since the Phoenix Eclipse folded after the 2001-2002 ABA season. They will be coached by Maury Samilton and owned by Stephen Moss-Kelley, a former IBL all-star himself.
[edit] 2007 Season
The 2007 season will be the Flame's first. Their lineup will be highlighted by former NBA All-Star Cedric Ceballos.
