Phillip Lynch

Sir Phillip Lynch (27 July 1933 - June 19, 1984) was Treasurer and Minister for Finance of Australia under Prime Minister Malcolm Fraser. He later served as Minister for Industry and Commerce, also under Fraser. He was also Deputy Leader of the Liberal Party from 1972 to 1982.
Lynch was Member of the House of Representatives for the Division of Flinders. A member of the Liberal Party, he held the seat from 1966-1982. Before becoming Treasurer, he served as Minister for the Army, Minister for Immigration, and Minister for Labour and National Service.
