Grand Theft Auto IV (GTA IV) és el vuitè i proper episodi de la sèrie de videojocs Grand Theft Auto, anunciat per llançar-se per Rockstar Games el 19 d'octubre de 2007 per PlayStation 3 i Xbox 360. Durant la conferència de premsa de Microsoft a l'E3 el 9 de maig de 2006, va ser anunciat que Grand Theft Auto IV estarà disponible per la Xbox 360 i Rockstar proporcionarà contingut exclusiu per Xbox Live amb la Xbox 360, Rockstar també va informar que la versió per Playstation 3 tindrà contingut exclusiu per SOE.
