National museum of Songkhla, back side view. The building was build in 1878 by Net Na Songkhla, then the deputy governour of the province Songkhla. It served as a residence for the governour of Songkhla shortly, then was used as a city hall, but then fell into neglect. It was declared national monument in 1973, in 1982 the national museum inside was opened.
