Violent Work of Art ist eine Industrial Metal-Band aus Schweden, die seit 1993 existiert.
Die Band selbst bezeichnet ihre Musik als "Industrial-Electroica-Jungle-Death Metal".
Nach langer Zeit des eher unorganisierten Spielens war es ihnen 2005 dann schließlich möglich bei Swedemetal.com einen Plattenvertrag zu unterzeichnen und ihr Album "The Worst is yet to come" auch einem internationalem Publikum zu präsentieren. Weitere Platten sind für Anfang 2007 Jahres geplant.
