[edit] POV tag
I have put a POV tag in response to the editorialism and sensationalism in the article, e.g. "murderously elite" and "this prosperity was due in part to ruthless exploitation of his workers, and various illegal or even murderous exploits", which raise questions about the POV of the author. See Wikipedia:Neutral point of view for background. - BanyanTree 19:28, 7 December 2005 (UTC)
The "murderously elite" refers to Weyler this refers to the Spanish American War when upto 400,000 Cubans starved to death. I changed it a little and added references El Jigüe 12/7/06
There is also little doubt that Angel Castro treated his workers unfairly; however, I toned this point down and added some references. Why don't you re-read and check the cited sources and see if this satisfies you. Meanwhile I have removed the POV tag, because this is now not the same article you criticized. El Jigüe 12/7/06,
Is he the father of Raúl Castro?
