[edit] Register as a Wiki User
Hi, thanks for contributing to Wikipedia!
You've been making some valuable contributions to the site. While you can continue making them as an anonymous user, creating a user account is almost instantaneous. With a username, you'd have a user page and, more importantly, a talk page, where people could discuss the article's you've been editing with you. Also, your edits are probably more likely to be taken as good faith if you contribute as registered user than under an anonymous IP.
Other benefits? See here.
To instantaneously create an account, click here. Feco
[edit] Creating Articles w/ Categories
Good work creating new articles. When you create things, it helps tremendously to assign them to an accurate category (see WP:CG for info). If you're really not sure about categories, at least assign your new articles a stub category (see WP:SC for info). By assigning a category, you help make sure your new articles don't get lost as 'orphans' that are not associated with related topics. Feco

- Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits, such as those you made to Battle of Saratoga, are considered vandalism. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the hard work of others. Thanks. — Mar. 6, '06 [15:16] <freakofnurxture|talk>

You have recently vandalized a Wikipedia article, and you are now being asked to stop this type of behavior. You're welcome to continue editing Wikipedia, so long as these edits are constructive. Please see Wikipedia's blocking policy and what constitutes vandalism; such actions are not tolerated on Wikipedia, and are not taken lightly.
In addition to the above guidelines, I have a few suggestions for you if you want to continue editing here:
- Do not make massive edits as an anonymous editor. Until you have learned the ropes of editing, there is no reason for you to make more than one or two edits in a row on the same article. Slow down and learn how to do it right.
- To that end, do not change things you don't understand. If you want to see how a change you have made will look, hit the "Show preview" button, not the "Save page" button. If you save edits that look like experiments or vandalism you may be punished quickly - possibly before you have a chance to fix them.
- Never delete sections of talk pages. Those are records of past discussions that may answer questions for future users. Deleting talk pages is always considered vandalism.
- On the same note, if you want to make a change, discuss it on the talk page. You can ask questions and get advice on how to make the change you want, and find out if it is inappropriate.
- I strongly suggest you register with a user name and sign in before you edit. Your constructive edits are more likely to be appreciated if you have a user name. IP addresses make people suspicious, and some of your edits are a perfect example of why that is.
Here are a few links you might find useful:
- User tutorial
- Help desk
- Policy on maintaining a neutral point of view
- Policy for content when editing articles and creating new ones
If you want to continue editing here, I hope you will create an account and take it seriously. You don't get very many chances before punishments begin to be handed down. I'm looking forward to seeing your contributions, and if you have any questions, feel free to contact me for help. Kafziel 16:51, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
