If you are an unregistered user operating from this address, note that this need not necessarily be the IP address of your machine. In many cases, it turns out to be the IP address of a proxy server that communicates between your browser and the Wikimedia servers. Such proxies are shared among a huge number of users compared to the number of persons using your particular machine. If you are frustrated by irrelevant comments appearing here, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself.

[edit] Volcano
Your edit to volcano, although understandable, was incorrect. This new type of volcanism is indeed called petitspot, to differentiate from the type where mantle plumes are believed to be the cause of the formation; those are called hotspots. The name petitspot reflects the small size of the volcanoes (petit is French for small).

Please refrain from adding nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to Christie Monteiro. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Gimboid13 09:33, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
Please stop adding commercial or personal-website links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming, and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising. Thanks. This is in reference to your recent edits to Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. --Yamla 14:54, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
