Your recent edit to Sydney Roosters was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to recognize and repair vandalism to Wikipedia articles. If the bot reverted a legitimate edit, please accept our apologies – if you bring it to the attention of the bot's owner, we may be able to improve its behavior. You were arguing with a computer program. A "bot". Getting angry at the bot doesn't do much good. :)
That all said, you triggered the bot's criteria for vandalism. Being a bot, it's not particularly smart. Removing a large percentage of the current page is one way to trigger the bot. I only see that it reverted you once, and you figured out how to fix the page correctly from the history, so in the end you learned something about how to function here, which is a big plus.
So I'm sorry you got caught incorrectly by the bot, but it appears to have worked out. Welcome to the project, and I hope you'll become a longtime good contributer in time.
(Oh, and thanks in general for helping to remove vandalism from the project.) - TexasAndroid 18:16, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Dont
I am largely responsible for the Roosters wikisite and alot of that content is my intellectual property that is registered. It is permitted by myself to be published and if you alter it in any way or vandalise that site you'll be getting an invitation, and believe me it wont be to go to a party.
[edit] Learn to read
Ah, if you actually paid attention to goings on, you'd have noticed something. At a certain point, somebody actually vandalised the page and wrote in something about Minichiello being the greatest and the Bulldogs being rapists. Are you telling me that was your intellectual property? If so, I'd like to label you a f**king idiot. However, I'm sure you were more likely to be responsible for the original content, which I trawled through the history to find and revert, after arguing with a bot for half an hour - a bot that continually allowed the Minichiello/Bulldogs nonsense to be published. FFS. Get your facts straight before having a go at someone, I was trying to help out.
[edit] Metroad 8
I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Metroad 8, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at Talk:Metroad 8. You may remove the deletion notice, and the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria.
