Talk:16th Street West (Minot, North Dakota)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I'm not saying that this should be put up for deletion yet, but is this article really necessary? I'm curious as to what others think. If others think it is OK to have articles on streets in major North Dakota towns, I'm off to work on DeMers Avenue, Gateway Drive, Washington Street, Columbia Road, and 32nd Avenue South (for those of you who don't know...they are all in Grand Forks). --MatthewUND 04:46, August 1, 2005 (UTC)
- There's articles on major streets in larger cities; I see no reason articles on similarly important streets in smaller towns can't be had. --AlexWCovington (talk) 00:49, 29 December 2006 (UTC)

- I just took down the merger proposal, Alex. If you think this is better as a standalone article than merged into the main Minot article, I don't have a problem with that and I certainly value your opinion. I just personally wonder how useful an article like this is in the long run. I think there is only one link to this article in the main Minot article...I wonder how many people ever even stumble across this article. Is 16th Street the most major street in Minot? I thought that was Broadway. I almost hate to suggest it, but if we're going to have an article for 16th Street, maybe we should have an article on Broadway too. For that matter, why not have articles for every major street in Minot, Bismarck, Fargo, Grand Forks, etc.? I'm just not sure 16th Street is the most notable street in ND. --MatthewUND(talk) 02:18, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
