- The 1930 St Louis Cardinals led the National League in runs scored and averaged six (6) runs per game in the regular season, but could only manage two (2) runs per game during this World Series.
- The 1930 Philadelphia Athletics' championship was their fifth (1910 World Series Champions, 1911 World Series Champions, 1913 World Series Champions, 1929 World Series Champions) and final as a franchise until moving to Oakland, where the A's have won four titles.
