This IP address resolves to the Research Defence Society in London, a pro-animal testing lobby group.
- If you want to know more about RDS, please visit www.rds-net.org.uk. We are not a "pro-animal-testing" group, but represent scientists in the public and political debate about the use of animals in research. No-one is pro-animal-testing, but we differ from antivivisectionists in that we are not prepared to jeopardise medical progress by calling for the immediate abolition of the use of animals in research. If and when suitable alternatives can replace the use of animals in research, would be very pleased to see it come to an end. Until that time, we will continue to explain why it is necessary and how it is conducted. 217.206.196.218 15:29, 3 January 2006 (UTC)
