Per the Wikipedia:Manual of Style, we don't link individual years (e.g. 1938). We do link dates in full (e.g. January 3, 1938) because doing so triggers the Wikisoftware which formats dates accoridng to user preferences. Thanks, -Willmcw 03:17, 27 November 2005 (UTC)

In response to Willmcw: I just don't believe we can trace the exact dates to the LEGO article, if that's what you're referring to. It would take some deep digging to fnd exact dates linking to LEGO history.

They are unrelated issues. Finding the exact dates requires research, either on the web or in offline sources. Wikilinking the years will not give you the exact dates. Single years (1938) should not be put into brackets, [[1938]]. -Willmcw 03:55, 27 November 2005 (UTC)
