[edit] Edits to Gorgon
My apologies for the misplaced warning. When checking your edits for legitimacy, I noticed that your edit summaries were, "OH MY GOD FREAKING DORKS" and "This read like a p.o.s." Vandals leave similar comments. Upon reviewing the changes you made, I noticed that a large portion of a paragraph had been deleted. (Not knowing anything about Gorgon, I did not know whether the deleted information was important.) If the edit summary had said, "removed nonsensical content," I would not have suspected a problem or reverted your changes. But the profane insults to fellow editors tipped me off that you were likely to be a vandal. So, instead of asking you not to vandalize Wikipedia, I will ask you to be more courteous in the future. By doing so, you will preclude the suspicion of vandalism, and your edits will be treated with greater respect.—Emote Talk Page 06:47, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Amazon Affiliate Referencing
Regarding this edit [1], you added a link to Amazon (somthing that is generally discouraged, but not actually completely against policy), but you added a link with your affiliate ID in it , which would mean anyone buying anything through your link would be contributing to yours or someone else's affiliate account and making money from it. This is most definitely not accepted on Wikipedia, a free encyclopaedia. Please do not make such an edit again. Ben W Bell talk 14:23, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

The items do require citations. The may be obvious to black metal connoisseurs but aren't to those only casually interested in it. Particularly the classical music reference may yield disbelief. Note that I do not necessarily contradict the views expressed there, but they can quickly be viewed as original research without citations. PS: Providing citations is a good thing.
