You will find that the etymology of the word fuck is attributed quite accurately in the relevant article. Norse mythology is not the correct place for your edit for three reasons:
- The root of the word is actually Anglo-Saxon, not Norse.
- The mythology article would not be the place to explore word etymology.
- An article on language could not adequately cope with the etymology of each word that is derived into modern English. The Latin article is already very big. For this reason, word etymology is given on the article pertaining to the word. Our sister reference, Wiktionary, will offer you even more information.
