OK, I'll bite. You seem too bright to be the average vandal. What's your story?Dlohcierekim 19:55, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
They aren't warning, so there's a history I don't know. What's up?Dlohcierekim 19:57, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
- This IP is very likely one of many used by a banned editor to further his anti-catholic agenda. The evidence for this is a comment identifying himself on my talk page after i reverted an attempt to turn the Celtic F.C. article (about a soccer club) into a socio-political diatribe against catholic migrants, eg:
-
- In reality, of course, the raison d'etre of Glasgow Celtic, Edinburgh Hibernian (which was also founded by a Roman Catholic priest) and Dundee Hibernian (now known as Dundee United) clubs was the same - to ensure that the Irish Catholic migrants to Scotland did not assimilate entirely into Scottish or British society, particularly regarding pre-Ne Temere intermarriages, which was a cause for serious, almost hysterical, concern by Irish priests and bishops.
- Unfortunately this POV editor has a lot of proxies at his disposal, so blocking him completely is near impossible. Instead a number of editors keep an eye out for his anonymous edits and mark them as those of a banned user asap. Hope that explains it. Rockpocket 22:05, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
