[edit] Talk:Jack Thompson (attorney)
Hi, during this edit you not only edited your own comments but you also removed my own and silsor's comments too. While you have every right to go back and edit your own comments, it is highly inappropriate to remove other's comments, even if they are not applicable anymore due to your own edits. I'm just letting you know, because I am sure you acted in good faith. --JiFish(Talk/Contrib) 11:23, 19 October 2005 (UTC)
Hi, Thanks for replying to my message.
In regard to the comments, you did delete one of mine. Albeit a very small one. (Check the the edit if you don't believe me. You also removed the message it was a reply to, but that is besides the point.
As for the internal messaging system, Wikipedia doesn't have one per say. However, each user and IP has a talk page that can be used for that purpose. You can access mine through the talk link in my signature.
Also, I neglected to welcome you formally, so I shall do that now: Welcome!
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions.
Currently, you are editing anonymously. You can continue to do so. You are not required to log in to Wikipedia to read and write articles, but doing so will result in a username being shown instead of your IP address (yours is 82.80.1.104). There are many benefits for logging in to Wikipedia.
Please note these points:
- Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
- Please use a neutral point of view to edit the article; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do that.
- Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as: copyrighted texts, advertisement messages, and texts that are not related to that article. Both adding such unreasonable information and editing articles maliciously are considered vandalism. A user who repeatedly vandalises articles will be blocked from editing.
The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, ask me on my Talk page – I will answer your questions as far as I can! Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia.
