Adrian Alfonso

Adrian Alfonso is a Cuban American filmmaker, Comedienne, Gay Rights activist and musician based in West New York, NJ. He is the winner of multiple local New Jersey film awards and Comedy Awards.

Adrian Alfonso was born in Hudson County, NJ on December 26, 1981, and was raised in West New York, New Jersey, he is an accomplished bassist (notably of the New Jersey band Matranka) and a local filmmaker.

In 2000, Alfonso toured the local New Jersey clubs with his band Matranka headed by New Jersey based guitarist/singer Sergio Michel, the band went defunct in 2001, and only released one album, Taking it By Force.

In 2006, Adrian Alfonso has been touring the New Jersey comedy club scene after a victorious attempt at 'funniest college student'. He achieved second place status to a superior comedian from a better neighborhood.

Since Graduating from the New York Film Academy in 2004, Alfonso has since written and directed multiple shortform films and music videos.
