Aeroparque Metropolitano Jorge Newbery (IATA: AEP, ICAO: SABE) is the main airport for domestic flights in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is located in the city near the Río de la Plata. This airport only allows flights from Argentine and Uruguayan companies.
Its military sector is home of the Tango 01 presidential aircraft.
The airport is named after Argentinean aviator Jorge Newbery.

On 31 August 1999, the Aeroparque was the scene for the crash of LAPA flight 3142, when 63 aboard and 2 people on ground were killed on the failed take-off of a LAPA flight.
