[edit] A.fib vs. a.flutter
I'm afraid that this is NOT Afib but some sort of block. A longer tracing would be needed to be sure but the r-r intervals are exactly regular except for the dropped beats. I'm not a cardiologist, just a nurse but that ain't Afib, sorry. - Dan D. Ric 01:45, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
- This is atrial flutter with variable block. The rate is 150 with occasional dropped beats - the classic rate for atrial flutter is 150. I can convince myself of the sawtooth waveform as well. The morphology of a.fib / a.flutter is different, but the treatment is essentially the same. Maybe worthwhile to rename this file to something A.flutter related. Dlodge 14:15, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
