From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
AfraCityLink is an airline based in Accra in Ghana, currently operating domestic services and expanding onto West African routes.
[edit] History
AfraCityLink is the result of a co-operative agreement between Afra Airlines and CTK - CiTylinK to enable new services on domestic routes in Ghana and to open West African regional routes. It started domestic services on 15 February 2005 and was due to begin expanding West African regional routes in March 2005.
[edit] Services
The immediate goal of AfraCityLink is to increase flight frequency between Accra and Kumasi, and to expand with new services from Accra to Tamale and Sunyani. On the regional front the alliance would make possible the launch of services to destinations such as Monrovia, Freetown, Lagos, Banjul, Lomé, Cotonou, Abidjan, Bamako and Ouagadougou (ref: Airliner World, April 2005).
