Am surprised not to see mention of Lohman's (and Barkley's) work on KLAC prior to KFI. I especially enjoyed hearing the serials "Matt Dilbert, Frontier On-the-Job-Training Marshal" ("Gunsmoke" satire, ca. 1963) and "Man from M.O.T.H.E.R.-I.N.-L.A.W." ("The Man from U.N.C.L.E." satire).
I don't remember them being billed as "Lohman and Barkley" until they moved to KFI. As I recall, at KLAC it was called "The Al Lohman, Jr. Show", with Roger Barkley as program director.
Also, note that the Lohman article says they were together for 22 years. The Barkley article says 25. Jim 05:35, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
