Alexander's Annexe is a band/ensemble made up of composer Mira Calix, sound designer David Sheppard and pianist, Sarah Nicholls. The group met while working on the Warp Works and 20th Century Artists concert at the Parco della Musica in Rome.
They were commissioned to write a piece for the Ravello Festival in Italy in 2004. They have played at several music festivals including the Aldeburgh Festival and IF festival.
The group released their debut album, Push Door To Exit, on Warp Records on the 6th November 2006
