"Results of the publicity" section, third paragraph, last sentence: "confidentially" should read "confidentiality"

I'm noticing that Aleksey keeps editing the page, inserting commentary, removing links to his video CV, etc. It's becoming an editing war as different users remove his commentary and he keeps editing it back in. (13 October)

- I think the main thrust of what Aleksey (or whoever this character was) was trying to say is that something in a "leadership" section of a resume is allowed to be a lie, and this is true. That's the one section of a resume where a person is not considered obligated to tell the truth. Impossible is Nothing 01:52, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

- One jobseeking advice book says: "Does everybody lie on résumés? A large number of studies show that [they do]... the commonest lie is to cover up jobs that a person might have had that they don't want to put on a résumé... As a consultant I must tell you that lying on your résumé isn't very smart... [although it is fairly common,] if you decide to embellish or stretch the truth to the point that you are outright lying, you run a great risk being fired after you've been hired.... You'd be shocked at the number of times lies on a résumé are discovered—during the hiring process or later on." [1] A Google Books search does not turn up any obvious sources that say lying in the leadership section is expected and acceptable. If anyone has such a source I'd like to see it. EditproteYeah, nonsense. Since it's locked I can't post, but perhaps it should be mentioned that he claims an impossible rank in martial arts? Kung Fu doesn't HAVE dan rankings. Speaking in my own area of expertise, I can assure you the brick break on the video is fake as well. - There was an article in today's New York Times about the guy, including an interview and photo.[2] He appears to be a real person who acknowledges that he may never get a job in finance do to his notoriety. -Will Beback 00:11, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Uh-oh... how reliable a source is Rumpus?
After noticing that the link to the Rumpus Magazine article was dead and replacing it with an archived version, I actually took a look at it.
What, exactly, is Rumpus? It looks like a cross between The Onion and The National Enquirer.
Our article on Rumpus Magazine doesn't really help me decide whether I trust what it has to say about Vayner.
