For the sake of completeness, it would be good if this article mentioned the 1994 DEA raid on Shulgin's laboratory Moe Aboulkheir 15:06, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Chronological errors
The article mentions that the first sythesization of MDMA took place in 1917, when the actual date was 1912. Merck received a patent for MDMA two years later, in 1914. You can find these dates in Shulgin's 1986 article, found here: http://www.maps.org/w3pb/new/1986/1986_shulgin_960_1.pdf
I have found at least 3 different dates for when Shulgin was introduced to MDMA (1965, 1967, and 1976), and I have found 2 different dates for when Shulgin introduced Leo Zeff to MDMA (1976 and 1977).
