All India Muslim Majlis (Dr. Faridi)

All India Muslim Majlis, is a Muslim political party in India, based in Uttar Pradesh.
Muslim Majlis was founded by Dr. Abdul Jaleel Faridi in 1968, after he had become disillusioned with the Samyukt Vidhayak Dal.
In 1977 two Muslim Majlis MPs were elected on the Janata Party symbol.
The current party president is Janab Khalid Sabir.
The youth wing of the party is called All India Youth Majlis. The president of the youth wing is Mohd Kashif Yunus.
In 2002 Muslim Majlis joined the Awami Front, but later left it.
Muslim Majlis is now the part of All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) led by ex-minister Janab C.M. Ibrahim and patronised by Shahi Imam Ahmed Bukhari.
The U.P state wing of Muslim Majlis is Actively involved in the activities of U.P wing of AIUDF which is known as the Uttar Pradesh United Democratic Front (U.P.-UDF).
U.P. - UDF is led by Advocate Yusuf Quraishi, the elder brother of Minister Yaqoob Quraishi. The Parliamentary Board of the U.P - UDF is headed by Mahboob Ahmed who is also President of U.P wing of All India Muslim Majlis Mushawarat.
Mr. Khalid Sabir is Vice-President of U.P - UDF . Three Other VPs are Mufti Mohammad Ayyub, Prof. Khan Mohammad Atif and Chaudhry Zia-ul-Islam.
