Alpine foothills

The Alpine foothills, Alpenvorland, or Prealps (German: Alpenvorland; Italian: Prealpi; French: Préalpes) can refer generally to any area of foothills in the Alps of Europe.
It can also refer specifically to:
- The French Prealps, a group of mountain ranges in France
- The Operation Zone of the Alpine Foothills, a territory in Italy occupied by Nazi Germany in World War II
- Voralpen (Préalpes), a geographical region between the Swiss plateau and the Alps
- The Swabian-Bavarian Alpine foothills (Schwäbisch-Bayerisches Alpenvorland)
- The Salzburg Alpine foothills (Salzburger Alpenvorland)
- The Austrian Alpine foothills
