Alsing Emanuel Andersen (1893-1962), danish social democrat, minister of defence 1935-1940, minister of the interior 13 november-23 november 1947.
Vice chairman of the Danish Social Democratic Party from 8 july 1940 until 1945, though acting chairman from the death of Thorvald Stauning until the end of the nazi-german occupation of Denmark in 1945.
Also leader of the Socialist International 1957-1962.
