So I'm a PhD student in (English and French) Literature at one of the UCs (the University of California system). I am particularly interested in Modernist literature (Virginia Woolf and her circle are perennial favorites of mine), pop culture studies (especially discussions of comic strips and tv), and certain aspects of Existentialist and Post-Structuralist philosophy/critical theory. In my free time I play with my Xbox, watch too many movies/tv shows, and read Terry Pratchett novels. I've lately taken to spending too much of said free time surfing around at random inside wikipedia...
