Talk:Amrita Hunjan
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The article does not make it clear who she is. A brief introductory paragraph should be provided which tells who she is, when she was born, what her profession (ex singer current model, or current singer ex model or what)is and the like. --Soumyasch 16:36, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
- The infobox notifies the reader that she is a singer. The second paragraph "Her Pop Career" informs the reader of her group, Rouge. It should be clear exactly who she is.
- The first paragraph tells us where she was born and when - I can't see any problems there.
- Her profession is singer/actress.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 82.24.191.43 (talk • contribs).
- Also how do i box the second photo, without it disrupting the layout. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 82.24.191.43 (talk • contribs).

- To know that one has to read the whole article. Its better if you provide a lead to the article that she was an ex-miss india contestant turned singer (It is required in wikipedia to give a short summary of the subject of an article, if you ever want it to get to a good article status). And the layout with all pictures interspersed looks nice. You might get all the pictures as a gallery at the bottom (which, by the way what I did and you undid) or if you want to line up all images on the right under the infobox, move all the image links to just below the infobox template and add the right attribute (like [[Image:someimage|right|descriptive text]]). It is better to give descriptions in the image tag itself if it is short, and not in text. Hope this solves your problem of layout. Contact me if you need any more clarifications. --soUmyaSch 17:56, 9 April 2006 (UTC)

- It looks tight. im impressed. The photo of Amrita with her group is a publicity photo and thus we are permitted to use it. The photo of her modelling at the bottom is also free for us to use. Im am currently waiting permission from the BBC and from Miss India UK to use their two photos.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Soladee (talk • contribs).

- Sam Samra of Miss India UK has just notified me that it is fine to use the image of Amrita. This is the image at the top of the page. So with the exception of the photo of Amrita standing outside of her university (im am still waiting to hear from the BBC), all the photos are fine to use.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Soladee (talk • contribs).
