Andrew Fois

Andrew Fois is the current Staff Director of the Senate Democratic Communications Center. He was appointed to the position by Harry Reid on February 24, 2006. Mr. Fois is a political analyst who frequently appears on television and radio. Most recently he held the position of Senior Fellow at Globalsecurity.org, a national security think tank. Prior positions include chief counsel to the Subcommittee on Crime and Criminal Justice of the United States House of Representatives Judiciary Committee (1989-1994), Assistant Attorney General in the Clinton White House (1985-1989), legal adviser to the Clinton-Gore Campaign, assistant state attorney in Miami-Dade County, Florida (1983-1984), and member of the legislative staff of U.S. Senator Gary Hart. He graduated from Georgetown University Law Center in 1983.
