Andy Ellison
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Andrew Ellison (born 5 July 1946, in Leatherhead, Surrey) is a musician and vocalist with John's Children, Jet and Radio Stars.
During the height of John's Children's almost nonexistent popularity, he carried a pillowcase stuffed with feathers onstage, throwing feathers around the stage. On the group's (in)famous 1967 tour with The Who, Andy threw feathers around the stage so much that Roger Daltrey couldn't sing.
The Radio Stars, a punk rock band, had only one UK Top 40 hit, "Nervous Wreck/Desdemona" in early 1978. It peaked at #39. The b-side to the single was a cover of the notorious John's Children single.
Today, Andy fronts a reformed version of John's Children.
