I am a computer programmer and I had been reading Wikipedia fairly regularly, but not contributing. I have started making contributions to articles about novels and books that I am reading, and attempting to follow the formatting of the Wikipedia:WikiProject_Novels project.

I have for years been recording information about the books that I read, and recently realized that putting that information into Wikipedia is much more useful than having it sit in my own files never to be seen by anyone.
