i'm new as of 20 march 2006. please forgive any mistakes i may make: i'll probably learn as i go. i'm starting to translate articles posted in the translation sections. i'm highly bi-lingual in spanish (was fluent in 87), which i learned in college and in 1.5 years in central mexico. i also butcher french but native speakers say they understand me fine. i translated a short article from portuguese (Silvio Ribas) which i don't speak but which is very similar to spanish and french.
