Angel Radio (Havant)

Angel Radio is a community radio station based in Havant, Hampshire in England. It broadcasts programmes specifically designed to appeal to an audience aged 60 years or over. As of 2005, Angel is the only radio station in the UK with this target audience. The station's record library holds 120,000 records made between 1900 and 1959.
Angel Radio began in August 1993, as a pirate radio station (mentioned in the "History" section of their website)

Angel Radio's FM signal on 101.1MHz covers the Borough of Havant, which includes Havant, Hayling Island, Waterlooville, Cowplain, Horndean, Emsworth, Leigh Park, Bedhampton and Purbrook. This signal can also be picked up in Portsmouth, Gosport, Chichester and on parts of the Isle of Wight.
