Aoife Mulholland (born c. 1978) [1] [2]is an Irish actress, from Salthill, Galway. She was a finalist in the BBC TV show How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?
After the show, in December, 2006 she took on the part of Roxie in the West End musical Chicago. From the 9th April, she will be taking over the role of Maria in The Sound Of Music on Monday evenings and Wednesday matinees, following medical advice to Connie Fisher that she can only partake in 6 shows per week.[3]

She was the youngest of four siblings. She attended National University of Ireland, Galway, University College Dublin, and Central School of Speech and Drama [4]. As well as being a skilled Soprano and in jazz dance, she plays the piano. According to her CSSD CV, [5] she enjoys horse riding, golf, swimming, and Tae Bo.
