Appley Bridge railway station serves the Lancashire villages of Appley Bridge and Shevington in the Metropolitan Borough of Wigan in Greater Manchester, England, United Kingdom. The station itself is in the Lancashire side of the village, but it is supported by the Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Executive and as such within the GMPTE ticketing zone.

Monday to Saturday daytimes, there are two trains an hour to Southport westbound and to Wigan and Manchester eastbound (One per hour to Manchester Airport via Bolton and Manchester Piccadilly, and one to Rochdale via Atherton and Manchester Victoria).
Evenings and Sundays there is an hourly service to Southport and to Manchester Airport (extended to Alderley Edge Sundays).
