Archambault

Archambault is a chain of music and bookstores in Quebec, Canada. The chain is now owned by Quebecor, and sells books, music and DVDs. It has 15 locations throughout Quebec.

Archambault Musique was established in Montreal by Edmond Archambault in 1896. It began as a sheet music store located at the corner of Saint Catherine and Saint Hubert streets before relocating in 1930 to Saint Catherine and Berri. Archambault still operates a store at this location.
Over the years, Archambault expanded from selling sheet music to selling musical instruments, publishing music, selling records and books.
