Armando Paredes

Armando Paredes (nicknamed "Armandito"), (born September 4, 1985, in Guayaquil) is an Ecuadorian football player. He plays center midfielder for Club_Sport_Emelec in the Ecuadorian Torneo Clausura 2005 as well as in the national football team.
Paredes was transferred to Barcelona Sporting Club from Club Venezia on July 5, 2002, for an undisclosed amount.
Paredes is known for being a versatile and fast player, equally apt in offense and defense. He is a pure "number 10".
However, as of 2005, he is one of the future Ecuadorian sports icons of the Ecuadorian national team that is seeking to reach the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany.
